Contract Administration and Consulting Engineering professional services were provided for Hostelling Scotland (The Scottish Youth Hostel Association) at their Gairloch Hostel in relation to reinstatement works due to significant storm damage.
The client also took the opportunity to have further works carried out in addition to the storm damage works, predominantly involving additional roofing works.
A scheme of timber preservation works were completed subsequent to defects noted as part of the strip out process.
